Oh mother!

A 60-second title sequence for a movie/TV show of my choosing.

Reimagining the opening title sequence for classic 1960 slasher/thriller Psycho, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. I mainly drew inspiration from Grease, Dr. Strangelove’s opening title sequence, and Saul Bass, who created the original title sequence.

To pay homage to Bass’ unmistakable design work, each title card was created very intentionally for the character they depict by featuring a vector object that is specific to that character. The eerie music compliments the old-film look that each of my assets have about them, and abrupt transitions between title cards tie the opening sequence together.
